Despite the miserable weather, the Walled Garden looked beautiful today, the plants and trees refreshed by the recent rain. I spent a rewarding morning yesterday in the tranquil conservatory of the beautiful Walled Garden, Baumber with a lively and interesting bunch of people on our taster session for the creative writing course. Today, I begin my summer job as Writer in Residence at The Walled Garden Baumber. It's the first open day of the season with lots to do and see. The garden will be open from 11.00 am - 4.00 pm.
